EVENT WILL START IN

OBJECTIVE

AISP’22 –Second International Conference being organized by the Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh in Coordination with IEEE Guntur Subsection and Technical Co-sponsorship approved by IEEE Hyderabad section. The focus of this forum is to present the latest developments in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing and bring together the researchers and practitioners, from both academia and industry. The conference is also intended to publish visionary papers with unique, and novel contributions so that the innovations in this aspect are further accelerated. Papers may present advances in the theory, design, implementation, analysis, and verification, or empirical evaluation, applications of AI and Signal Processing in the design and development of State-of-Art technology.

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence uses computing technologies that makes machines to see, hear, talk, think, learn, and provide solutions to the problems. These technologies uses searching, planning, learning, knowledge representation, analysing, reasoning, natural language processing, automation, robotics and perception, multiagent systems, applied statistical learning, and deep learning to develop new applications.

Signal Processing

In recent years, our everyday lives rely on computers, radios, video, cell phone which are enabled through signal processing. Signal processing is the heart of today’s technology without which we are unable to share the information. Signal processing has very vast and interdisciplinary applications extending from engineering to medical science. It has immense role to provide exponential growth in the field of digital system, microchip, speech, image, and video processing, medical application, computer hardware, and biosensor.

VIT-AP University

VIT-AP University founded under the eminent guidance of Founder and Chancellor Dr. G Viswanathan has emerged as one of the promising and prominent academic institutes of India. The University comprises of six prominent schools namely School of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Electronics Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Sciences & Languages, School of Business and School of Law which houses around 150 faculty members dedicated to fulfil the needs of various engineering departments. Almost all the faculty members are doctorates and are actively involved in research activities in addition to the regular teaching activities. VIT-AP University is located near Vijayawada, 15 kms away from Vijayawada City and 35 kms away from Guntur City. VIT-AP is 41 km away from Vijayawada International Airport and 18.8 km away from Vijayawada Bus Stand.

School of Electronics Engineering

School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE) is established to train young minds to foster innovation and advancements in the fields of Device Design, VLSI, IoT Applications, and Communications. The young minds are taught to employ the knowledge they gather, in providing solutions to social and industrial needs. The school is endowed with highly-qualified, experienced, committed and caring faculty members from reputed universities across the globe. The school also takes pride in the state-of-the art labs used for research and teaching. The programmes offered under Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) are meticulously designed with a strong real-world application and industrial relevance. They range from the application of science in transforming semi-conductor materials as usable devices which may be used to create “smart” innovative products, to enabling students design efficient, affordable, means and mechanisms of communicating information. At present, the following programmes are offered at the undergraduate level.

Manuscript Submission and Publication Process

Full papers should describe novel research contributions with evaluation results and are limited to six (6) printed pages (10-point font) including figures, references and appendices (two additional pages are allowed with a per-page extra fee). Short papers, limited in length to four (4) pages, should be more visionary in nature and are meant to discuss new challenges and visions, showcase early research results, and explore novel research directions.

All submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication should be written in English and formatted according to IEEE Template. IEEE specification based Latex and MS-Word templates for paper submission are available:

Prospective authors are invited to submit an original Full or Short paper in IEEE PDF format via the EASYCHAIR online submission system

Please note that, AISP’22 reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g. removal from publication) if the paper is not presented at the conference.


All the accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE xplore for possible publication.

Steps for Registration

  1. Please check the plagiarism report of your Camera-ready paper before converting it to PDF(below 15% is mandatory for all accepted papers).
  2. Please check that your paper is as per the template provided on the conference website and is free from typographical errors before the creation of the PDF. Papers that are not in proper format may not be sent to IEEE for inclusion in the digital library.

  4. For converting your camera-ready paper to PDF follow the below steps.
    • Use IEEE PDF express (IEEE Xplore compatible .pdf version) to convert your camera-ready paper to PDF and submit through the registration link on or before 10th Jan 2022. To create IEEE Xplore compatible .pdf please go through the link: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login?ReturnUrl=%2F and use “53593X” as conference id.
    • Create an IEEE PDF eXpress® account, entering basic contact information; get confirmation of account creation email.
    • After activating your account Upload a PDF for Checking or source file(s) for Conversion; get an email confirmation of file receipt Submitted PDFs are Checked for IEEE Xplore®-compatibility; source file(s) are Converted to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs.
    • If a PDF is submitted: you will receive an email stating that PDF Passed or Failed. If the PDF fails, a PDF Check report is attached to the email. The author goes to account and clicks "Understanding the PDF Check Report" for solutions.
    • If the source is submitted: you will receive the IEEE PDFeXpress®-generated PDF as an attachment and through your IEEE PDFeXpress® account. Review PDF to ensure that it views on screen and prints as you intended.
    • If necessary, revisions may be submitted (PDF or source); return to Step 2. Make sure that there are no grammatical, spelling, or content errors in articles prior to submitting to PDF eXpress.
    • When you have an acceptable IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF, submit this final PDF to the conference registration link
  5. Submit the electronic copyright form with your paper details and the signatures of the authors.
  6. Go to the AISP registration link and upload (scanned copy) your duly filled IEEE copyright transfer form and camera-ready paper on or before 10th Jan 2022.
  7. After completion of registration, make the payments and generate the payment receipt.
N.B.: Please note the last date for submission is 10th Jan 2022 after which the IEEE PDF eXpress link for AISP 2022 will expire.
